A recent course on various retinoscope techniques and the integrated approach to prescribing in developmental, behavioural, and neuro optometry proved to be a valuable learning experience for all involved. Practitioners and ophthalmologists from the local area, Taiwan, and China attended the course, creating a weekend of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
The 4th Optometric Scientific Conference provided a platform for a distinguished presentation. Mr. Stanley shared their approach to integrating virtual reality, neuro vision therapy, and syntonic techniques for treating amblyopia and strabismus with optometrists and ophthalmologists.
Mr. Stanley was once again honoured to be a guest lecturer at the 5th National Brain Injury Rehabilitation Course 2023. Themed "Empowering Clinicians with Practical Solutions," the course focused on equipping medical professionals with knowledge on how optometrists like Mr. Stanley can contribute to brain injury rehabilitation, emphasizing the importance of a multidisciplinary approach.

On 22nd June 2023 - Mr. Stanley is on duty today at UMMC hospital. He's collaborating with medical students to provide care for brain injury patients. Their duties include visiting patients both within the clinic and hospital wards. As part of these visits, they work together to assign activities to support the patients' recovery.
Mr. Stanley is currently leading the 8th installment of a training series with Zeiss Vision Care for Malaysian eye care practitioners. This series focuses on the critical role of binocular vision in myopia management and the benefits of incorporating Behavioral and Functional Optometry into practice. Mr. Stanley's passion for his work shines through, as he thoroughly enjoys delivering these informative training sessions.

Following a successful virtual workshop last year, Mr. Stanley was fortunate to hold a physical workshop in Taiwan this year. This provided an incredible opportunity to meet his students in person and offer them direct guidance and support during his visit.
The ability to interact face-to-face proved invaluable. While last year's virtual workshop was effective, it lacked the personal connection and spontaneous interaction that comes with physical presence. This year's physical format allowed for direct communication, fostering a stronger bond between Mr. Stanley and his students.
