Does training eye functions help in education ? Here’s the research:
This study examined the impact of in-school saccadic training on reading performance in a cohort of 327 participants (165 males; mean age 7 years 6 months). Participants underwent eighteen 20-minute training sessions over 5 weeks. The treatment group showed significantly greater improvement.
The practice of reading-related eye movements, visuospatial attention shifts, and visual processing contributed to these improvements, supporting the inclusion of eye movement training in early education curricula.
