Our Story

University of Malaya Medical Centre in Malaysia invites Our Founder, Mr. Stanley to be their Visiting Specialist in the Rehabilitations Department for providing neuro-vision rehabilitation services together with the Rehabilitation Physicians. We hope that more patients can be benefited.

Our Founder, Mr. Stanley started his career by working in his parents’ optical store.  He became certified as an optician and helped many patients get glasses and contact lenses.  But he was not satisfied.  He could see that many patients needed more help with their vision.  He decided to become trained and licensed as an optometrist.

While he was training to become an optometrist, Mr. Stanley learned about how to diagnose and treat eye diseases, as well as how to prescribe different types of glasses and contact lenses for more difficult cases than he could treat before as an optician.  However, he found himself with more questions about vision that weren’t answered in his classes. When he found out about the field of Neuro-Developmental Optometry, he found the answers he was looking for.

Mr. Stanley dedicated himself to learning as much as possible about vision: how it develops, how vision problems can impact attention, learning, behaviour, balance and overall development,  how to help people who have eye turns and lazy eye without surgery and patching, how vision problems affect those with special needs, as well as head injuries and concussions.

His search for answers, lead Mr. Stanley to travel the world constantly learning more about vision, learning from other vision specialists ways to help the people of Malaysia.

University of Malaya Medical Centre in Malaysia invites our founder, vision specialist Mr Stanley-FCOVD,FCSO,FACBO to be their Visiting Specialist in the Rehabilitations Department for providing neuro-vision rehabilitation services together with the Rehabilitation Physicians.
